Following the high-energy Grizzle Ridge Arenas High Point Series show on May 31st, the arena kept the momentum going with a Sunday show on June 1st — making it a full weekend of barrel racing action.
This Sunday show was a bit shorter and more laid-back, which, as a photographer, I can honestly say is sometimes a welcome change! Long days spent on my feet, in the dirt, tracking every turn and sprint with a camera can be both creatively and physically demanding. So when the show wraps up a little quicker, it offers a much-needed reprieve.
Although the crowd was smaller, the energy and spirit were still strong — and I had an absolute blast capturing it all. The lighter schedule gave me more time to get creative and dial in on some really dynamic shots.
