Newborn foals are fragile and easily startled, so I moved slowly, allowing the colt to settle into his surroundings while trusting me with this rare glimpse of calm. His eyes, half-closed in serene repose, invite viewers to feel the quiet miracle of birth and the beginnings of a lifetime bond.
