When You Love Butterflies

October 18, 2024 in Photography

I have loved butterflies for as long as I can remember and as a photographer I get really excited at events when one ends up near me. Especially as I usually do not have the time to just go hangout in nature shooting for my leisure.

The first video shows a thumb nail sized butterfly that I stalked during a horse show, to the point I missed a few runs because the butterfly just drew my attention. It was also just one of those events when my mind and body wanted to relax and do something for fun so stalking the butterfly really was hard not to do.

The second video shows a butterfly I captured at a local park while walking my dog and hangin with my niece and aunt. I took it using my cell phone and was surprised with its macro capabilities.
