A New Chapter in Licensing My Work

For years, I’ve been licensing and selling my photography through Getty via 500px. While that partnership served me well for a long time, I’ve recently grown disenchanted with 500px and felt it was time for a change. I still value having my work licensed, so I began searching for a new stock platform—or ideally, a way to work with Getty directly, without 500px as the middleman.

After some research, I applied and was accepted to iStock and Getty Images directly. I now understand why 500px acted as a bridge—Getty’s user interface isn't the most intuitive, and it took some effort to figure out how to navigate the submission and upload process.

That said, once I got the hang of it, it turned out to be a fairly straightforward experience.

Curious to see where this new path takes me?
